About
What is Eiserne Internationals?
Eiserne Internationals is a community for international Union Berlin fans — both those living in Berlin or elsewhere in Germany, and organised fan clubs around the world. Whether you've just moved to Berlin from abroad or you're cheering for Union from another country before moving to Germany, we help you feel connected, welcomed, and part of something bigger.
We were previously known as Union Berlin International.
Who is it for?
- International Unioner based in Berlin or anywhere in Germany — and local German fans who want to connect with the international community.
- New supporters looking for a community and shared matchday experiences.
Who is it not for?
- Union Berlin fans who are not living in Germany.
- Fans of clubs other than FCU.
What do we do?
- Connect international Union fans through WhatsApp and meetups.
- Facilitate ticket exchanges, matchday coordination, and community support.
- Offer a forum-like community with discussions about the club, match experiences, and ways to get involved.
Do I need to speak German?
No. Eiserne Internationals was created precisely for international fans, many of whom don't speak fluent German. We use English as our main language to make the community accessible and inclusive.
How do I join?
- Join our WhatsApp Community — just reach out and we'll guide you to the right group (matchday chat, ticket exchange, and so on).
- Follow us on Instagram or Bluesky to stay updated.
Do you sell tickets?
No — we are not a ticket provider. But we help members connect with each other when someone has a spare, or needs help understanding the ticketing system.
Are you official?
We're a fan-led network, not an official fan club, and are not run by 1. FC Union Berlin. However, we align with the club's values of solidarity, authenticity and community, and we're in contact with the club's fan liaison when needed.
What are our values?
- Welcoming: You don't have to be from Berlin to feel at home here.
- Inclusive: All backgrounds and levels of engagement are welcome.
- Fan-first: We're here to support each other and keep Union's spirit alive.
